About Writing Pittsburgh

From its conception, Writing Pittsburgh has been an ever-evolving space.

It continues to be a blog about representations of Pittsburgh in fiction, non-fiction, film, and culture in general.  But more recently, it’s also become a headquarters of sorts for my composition students.  About once per week I post a writing prompt, and my students respond to it.

If you have anything that addresses the central question of this blog, “What does Pittsburgh look like to you?” then click on the submit button.  Anything-photos, videos, stories, links, quotes, etc - are welcomed.  So, go on.  Click submit.
