Alex addresses an important issue for us Pittsburgh Tumblrs - one that I addressed a little while ago, but I’m pretty sure not many people read… or maybe they did read it and just chose to ignore it. Both are completely possible. But here it is again:
“Fellow PGH Tumblrs, I have a request. If you’re not completely in love with one of the tags on your blog, might I suggest using Pittsburgh as one of them? It would be a great way for all of us to find each other, and build a big happy Pittsburgh Tumblr community.
Tumblr’s Directory feature is nothing short of an illiterate designer’s trash heap, in my opinion, so there’s no option to view tags in alphabetical order. BUT, if you go ahead and type in http://www.tumblr.com/directory/pittsburgh, you can access those of us with Pittsburgh tags directly.
So, if you dig the idea, go ahead and tag your blog and ask your fellow Tumblrs to do the same. Thanks!”
So, there it is, one more time. Is there a down side to this I’m not seeing?
Is it too much to ask to start doing some massive reblogging of this post so we can try to get everyone together?
Can we get an easier way to find Tumblelogs in our area? I don’t want to click on each one of those red dots.
