I’m John Fedko; the Pirates’ season is really starting to spiral out of control.

Exposition Park on the North Side (formerly Allegheny City)- the site of the first World Series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Boston Pilgrims in 1903. The Pirates played here until 1909 when they moved to Forbes Field in Oakland. Of course, now the Pirates are back on the North Side of Pittsburgh at PNC Park which was built on roughly the same piece of land as Exposition Park. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like another World Series is in our near future.
P.S. We lost that series back in 1903.

I love you, Richard Simmons, yesterday and today and forever.
